For many patients and their families, a visit includes filling out unfamiliar forms and answering financial and insurance questions. The information below andthe phone numbers that follow can help with this process.
During the pre-admission process, you'll meet with a member of our admitting staff to finalize financial arrangements. Please bring your insurance card, claim forms and any papers given to you by your doctor.
North Okaloosa Medical Center accepts assignments of insurance benefits when insurance coverage has been verified in advance of surgery. Our patient representative will gladly help you verify your insurance coverage. Depending upon the specific coverage of your policy, a deposit on the amount not covered by your insurance may be required. For patients with no insurance coverage, financial arrangements can be made by contacting our business office.
North Okaloosa Medical Center is an approved Medicare facility for most procedure. The hospital accepts assignments from Medicare. For your convenience, NOMC accepts MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover/NOVUS®, and VISA®. We are happy to discuss our fees and any financial arrangements with you.
