Building for Our Future
GROUNDBREAKING IN JANUARY 2010
The construction of our new Patient Tower marks another milestone in the hospital’s long history of providing the advanced medical care you need, right here at home. This new addition, a $22 million investment into our community, will serve our patients and their families more efficiently and comfortably.
Consisting of two floors with provisions to add additional floors in the future, the new Patient Tower will offer enhanced patient access with private patient rooms and ample parking for patients, visitors and employees. The addition, which follows over $12 million in new technology, upgrades and renovations completed since 2007, will expand the Intensive Care Unit from eight beds to 20 and add additional private patient rooms. Once completed, the Patient Tower will increase our facility’s capacity from 110 beds to 150 beds, allowing North Okaloosa Medical Center to grow with our community.
The future of healthcare for North Okaloosa County and surrounding communities is here and we couldn’t be more excited.
