North Okaloosa Medical Center Opens New Emergency Room Expansion Phase

Crestview, FL – August 19, 2025 – North Okaloosa Medical Center has reached an exciting milestone in its emergency room expansion project with the official opening of a new patient care area and a dedicated EMS entrance. This addition is designed to streamline the process for first responders, allowing them to bring patients into care more efficiently and quickly.

The first to utilize the new entrance were North Okaloosa Medical Center’s long-standing partners at Okaloosa County EMS. Their dedication and collaboration continue to play an essential role in serving the health and safety needs of our community.

While construction on additional portions of the renovation are still underway, this phase marks a significant achievement in NOMC’s broader vision to improve emergency services and patient experience.
